The 2013 Division I Regional Cross Country Championship will be held in Ames Friday, November 15.

Last year, Betsy Saina won the women’s Regional Championship, held in Sprinfield, Mo., with a time of 19:51.06. Fellow Cyclone Meaghan Nelson came in fifth with a time of 20:36.23, while Crystal Nelson and Samantha Bluske place in the 17th and 18th spots.

The meet will be held at the Iowa State cross country course. This will be the first time Iowa State has hosted a regional meet since 1997.
