Everyone needs to know who they can call to get food delivered in Ames. Whether you have a last minute gathering or are just too lazy to go get food, delivery is always a prime option.

Jeff’s Pizza Shop is an Ames favorite offering pizza, sandwiches and lasagna. The shop is located at 2402 Lincoln Way and is open until 1:00 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday, 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and until 3:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

At Jeff’s you can dine-in, carry-out or have it delivered. The delivery fee is $1.00 and no minimum order is required.

Pizza Pit is located at 207 Welch Ave., Suite 201. The business offers pizza of all varieties, hot sandwiches and chicken wings. Dine-in, carry-out and delivery are all options.

No delivery fees are charged but a minimum pizza order of $10 or a minimum order of $14 for all other foods is required.

Golden Wok is located 223 Welch Ave. and serves Chinese cuisine. Dine-in, carry-out and delivery are all available. Golden Wok hours are 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Their hours on Friday and Saturday are 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. 

For delivery, a minimum order charge of $8 is required. Delivery fees are $2 if the order is paid for in cash and $2.50 for orders paid for by credit card. 

888 offers a large selection of Chinese food. Located at 809 Wheeler St. Suite 106, they are open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A minimum order of $15 is required and a delivery fee of $1.50 is charged. 

Jimmy John’s is a popular choice for delivery among Iowa State students. Orders can be placed online or over the phone. Delivery is free and a minimum order of $3 is required. There are four Jimmy John’s locations in Ames.

Fighting Burrito offers a quick option for Mexican food. Located at 117 Welch Ave., their main dishes include customized burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Fighting Burrito is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.

For delivery, no minimum order is required but $1.50 is charged as a delivery fee.
