The Big 12 released it’s annual preseason All-Big 12 team this morning. Punter Kirby Van Der Kamp is the lone Cyclone on the list comprised of Big 12 stand-outs.

On July 10, 2013, Van Der Kamp, a native of West Des Moines, Iowa, was named to the Ray Guy watch list. Van Der Kamp has averaged 42.8 yards per kick as a three-year starter.

At the end of the 2012-13 season, Van Der Kamp was named second team All-Big 12 punter.

The Big 12 also named preseason offensive and defensive players of the year. Lache Seastrunk, a running back from Baylor, was named the preseason offensive player of the year while Devonte Fields, a defensive end out of TCU, was named the preseason defensive player of the year.
