Betsy Saina, a three-time national champion and 11-time All-American, has been named the Iowa State Femal Athlete of the Year for the second-straight year.

The long-distance runner from Eldoret, Kenya rounded out her Cyclone career last weekend at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. Saina finished second in the 5,000-meter run and won the 10,000-meter run with a time of 33:08.85.
