Yogurt is a perfect snack for class, with little mess and no noise.

Greek yogurt has become all the rage lately. It is packed with protein and contains little to no fat. Original, unflavored Greek yogurt is great for savory dishes, while the sweetened varieties are great for parfaits, breakfast toppings and smoothies. Here are 10 different ways to use Greek yogurt.

1. Substitute plain Greek yogurt for sour cream on tacos and baked potatoes.

2. Make yogurt-and-fruit popsicles by combining fruit puree and yogurt in small cups with popsicle sticks. You can also make ice cream using Greek yogurt and peanut butter, chocolate or fruit purees.

3. Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo in egg salad, potato salad and slaws.

4. Try Greek yogurt in various dips such as spinach artichoke, cucumber dill and buffalo.

5. Lighten up creamy salad dressings using part Greek yogurt and part oil.

6. Create the classic parfait with Greek yogurt, dried fruit, nuts and granola.

7. Blend up a fruit smoothie with Greek yogurt and your choice of fruit, or mix up your morning protein shake with a spoonful of Greek yogurt.

8. Top pancakes or French toast with lightly sweetened Greek yogurt.

9. Lighten up a creamy soup using Greek yogurt in place of heavy cream or butter.

10. Use Greek yogurt in place of a portion of butter in cookies, muffins and breads.
