No. 28 Cyclones take home second place at Marsh Landing Invitational

The No. 28 Iowa State women’s golf team took home second place at the Marsh Landing invitational on Tuesday.
The Cyclones finished with a total, three-round count of 865, matching the second-lowest 54-hole score in school history. The Cyclones finished the 20-team tournament with a third-round 286, the lowest round for the team, but fell to Purdue with 857.
Senior Punpaka Phuntumabamrung paced the Cyclones with a three-round 213, recording her lowest 54-hole score of her career, which also tied her for third. Phuntumabamrung locked down her third top-10 finish of the season and the 11th of her career. This score also tied the second lowest 54-hole tally in school history.
Junior Sasikarn On-Iam tallied a three-round 217, firing a 69 in the third round to tie for eighth place. With this, On-Iam posted her first top-10 finish of the season and fifth of her career.
