McGee finishes first nationally in 3-point percentage

When all was said and done, ISU men’s basketball player Tyrus McGee’s name remained atop the NCAA leaderboard for 3-point percentage.

With the conclusion of the NCAA men’s basketball season Monday night, McGee’s spot became final as he became the first Cyclone ever to lead the nation is a statistical category with his 46.4 3-point shooting percentage. 

McGee went 96-of-207 from beyond the arc this past season, which gave him the third-best total in school history. In two seasons in an ISU uniform, McGee shot 43.7 on 3-pointers, the second-best mark in school history.
