Francesca Skwark, founder of FBF by Checka fashion line, will be discussing entrepreneurship during her lecture on Friday in 117 Mackay Hall. It will begin at 4 p.m. and is free for all to attend. Skwark graduated from Iowa State in 2009 from the Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Production Program. According to a previous Iowa State Daily article, Skwark has an additional degree in Marketing. During her time at Iowa State, she was involved in the Fashion Show and held several internships, including one at Tommy Hilfiger and Macy’s Merchandising Group for the brand of Style & Co.
