ISU women’s golf team finishes in second at Purdue Mount Vintage Invite

Day two of tournament play has concluded at the Purdue Mount Vintage Invitational, and the No. 28 Iowa State women’s golf team took home second place in a six-team pool.

Iowa State fired for a three-round total score of 911, trailing Coastal Carolina by just one stroke and leading No. 15 Purdue by 2 strokes (913).

Chonlada Chayanun paced the Cyclones with a three-round 223, placing her in second place individually. Punpaka Phuntumabamrung finished in second for the Cyclones and seventh individually with 227 strokes.
