February 3, 2013
For many people, Superbowl Sunday is an occasion to kick back and have some fun, but the Ames Police Department will be doing no such thing.
The City of Ames issued a news release Friday announcing increased enforcement on the day of the game.
In an effort to ensure public safety, police will be more vigilant throughout the day, targeting drivers under the influence.
The Superbowl XLVII is Sunday, Feb. 3. The Ravens will play against the 49ers in New Orleans.
