A found quantity of a suspected controlled substance was placed into secure storage at the 300 block of Lynn Avenue (reported at 1:14 a.m.).

Zachariah Rankin, 24, 4345 Maricopa Drive, Apt. 4, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Mortensen Road and State Avenue (reported at 1:22 a.m.).

Matthew Snyder, 20, of Dubuque, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, underage possession of alcohol and interference with official acts at the 100 block of Stanton Avenue (reported at 2:20 a.m.).

Robert Phillips, 18, of Cedar Falls, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, underage possession of alcohol and providing alcohol to underage persons. Zachary Brandt, 19, of Cedar Falls, was arrested and charged with providing alcohol to underage persons and underage possession of alcohol. Jordan Lazenby, 19, 4463 Friley Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a license. Jake Stodola, 18, 4463 Friley Hall, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. Justin Werning, 19, of Shellsburg, was cited for unlawful use of a license at Friley Hall (reported at 2:19 a.m.).
