The Government of the Student Body Senate is expected to override President Jared Knight’s veto of the bill “Making GSB Accountable and Transparent” at tonight’s meeting.

The bill mandates and ensures that the activities of all branches of GSB are made available to the public in documentary, audio or video form, and it ensures that all content on GSB’s website is current and up to date

“We’ve loosely agreed to allow Gage [Kensler] to make the motion to override the veto,” said Barry Snell, an Off-Campus Senator. “The idea being unity from the senate allowing it to come from our chief officer.”

The senate is also voting on a resolution that supports the removal of tuition set aside from students’ tuition costs.
