ISU forward James Buttermore did not play in the ISU hockey team’s last two home games against Ohio.

Buttermore was charged with nuisance party regulations in December.

He has 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) including three game-winning goals in 24 games played this season. He ranks fourth on the team in scoring.

ISU coach Al Murdoch said that impact from the loss of Buttermore is “nothing.”

“We’ve got 28 guys who are healthy and skating hard,” Murdoch said. “We try to provide an opportunity to get a good education and play the best hockey of their life.”
