Blaskowsky named Big 12 Freshman of the Week

After a career-high 26-point game against Air Force on Saturday, freshman Kidd Blaskowsky was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week.
A recruit from Texas, Blaskowsky scored a career-high 26 points in the 83-35 decision against Air Force in the Cyclone Challenge during the weekend.
Taking 13 shots from behind the arch, Blaskwosky hit eight of them, six being in the second half. She was also perfect from the line, sinking 6-of-6 free throws.
Blaskowsky and company will return to Hilton Coliseum on Jan. 2 for the Big 12 conference opener against Texas. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
