Knott named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

No. 20 Jake Knott sacks Kansas State’s quarterback Collin Klein in the backfield, forcing the Wildcats to punt Saturday, Oct. 13, at Jack Trice Stadium. After a long battle, the Cyclones fell to the Wildcats 27-21.

Jake Knott was named the Big 12’s Defensive Player of the Week earlier this morning. 

Knott had 11 tackles and 0.5 of a tackle for a loss in the 35-21 victory against Baylor. This was Knott’s 19th career game where he had 10 or more tackles.

Knott forced his 10th fumble of his career that halted a Baylor drive, preventing the Bears from scoring first.

The Cyclones face No. 12 Oklahoma at home on Nov. 3 at 11 a.m.
