Big 12 and Friends Conference

Iowa State University is hosting the 2012 National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association Big 12 and Friends conference.
The conference provides opportunities for networking and education in the recreational field. Registration is from 7:30-9 am in the Gateway Hotel followed by educational sessions from 9-11:45 am.
There are 7 morning sessions including Violent Incident Response Training with the ISU Police Department, Building Basics to Build Great Instructors by Dana Foster and Ashley Artist from UNI and The Journey – Four Factors to Attract People to Exercise by Tim Moran, Life Fitness; Jeff Paxton, Advanced Exercise; Clint Hafliger and Jason Brungardt, Kansas State University.
The conference continues into the evening with 40 Years of NIRSA and Collegiate Recreation. This event entails a panel of NIRSA professionals sharing their journey.
The day will end with an ISU facilities tour including two facilities and outdoor fields.
