Orchesis I Dance Company will be holding auditions for Fall 2012 on Thursday. Auditions will occur in the Forker Building Studio 196 from 7 to 9 p.m. The group will cover ballet, modern and jazz phrases, along with improvisational and vocal exercises. Audition material will be provided at the audition, which will include a dance taught by the group’s advisor. Auditions will be judged by group officers, Barjche choreographers and Iowa State dance faculty. The group is asking participants to arrive early to auditions to fill out the necessary paperwork and get an audition number.
