The eleven days of global unity is a campaign put together by the WE foundation. WE describes themselves as being: 

“A Consciousness, a Campaign, and a Collaboration of people, organizations and social change movements from around the world.”

The eleven days of global unity highlights eleven dimensions of change to move our world towards greater peace.

The eleven themes are: Unity Interdependance, Enviroment: Economic Justice Health, Children and Youth, Woman, Human Rights, Freedom, Disarmament and Peace.

“The 11 Days of Global Unity aims at strengthening the ideals of unity and equality, diversity and oneness, harmony and compassion and, above all, at advancing the culture of peace. I welcome this remarkable initiative,” said Ambassador Anwarul K. Chowdhury (former Under-Secretary-General and High Representative of the UN.)

The eleven days of global unity will begin on September 11, and will go through September 21. Each day will cover a new theme covered by the campaign.
