The ISU football team announced its list of seven walk-ons added to the team on Monday afternoon via Facebook.

Key among them is a native of Marshalltown, Chanse Creekmur, who was added as a tight end after leaving his scholarship on the Arizona State men’s basketball team.

Creekmur is one of five Iowans on the list, with others including running back Ben Goaley of Des Moines, linebacker Anthony Lazard of Urbandale, deep snapper Tanner Tusha of Clear Lake and deep snapper Nick Lande of Granger.

Defensive backs Matt Swoyer (Southlake, Texas) and Kyle Hatton (Zionsville, Ind.) are the other additions to the team.
