The Beyer Hall pool will be closed and drained July 29. The pool is being closed to perform repairs, upgrades and repainting.

Upgrades to the pool include new lift chairs, handrails and ladders. Users will also be able to enjoy a new audio system, scoreboard and starting blocks.

The pool is expected to reopen Aug. 25. In the meantime, pool hours at State Gym will be extended to accommodate for morning and noontime lap swimming.
