Beau Biden, Delaware attorney general and son of Vice President Joe Biden, will be campaigning in Iowa during Thursday and Friday for President Barack Obama.

Beau will lay out the differences between Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s plans for veterans and their families. Back in 2008, Beau served a tour of duty in Iraq and currently is a major in the Delaware Army National Guard.

On July 19, he will be visiting the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown at 1:30 p.m. for a meeting of Iowa Veterans for Obama, according to the Des Moines Register. At 5:45 p.m., he will visit the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 33 in Des Moines for a “Veterans to Veterans” phone bank.

The details of his Friday schedule have not been announced yet.
