Street construction will begin May 7 on Lincoln Swing. The street will be closed between South Dakota Avenue and Beedle Drive during the first phase of construction, according to a news release from the city of Ames.

The construction project will be carried out in phases to minimize the impact on local residents and businesses. The total project is expected to take several months.
