Tornadoes spotted in NW Iowa; meteorologists say ‘brief’ funnels possible

Two tornadoes were spotted this afternoon in northwestern Iowa.
Tornado warnings were issued around 4:45 p.m. for southeastern Clay County and northeastern Dickinson County, according to the National Weather Service. They expired about a half-hour later.
