Police blotter 4.14.12

Cory Voshell, 20, of Cumming, Iowa, and Daniel Simmons, 20, of Des Moines, were cited for underage possession of alcohol at Knapp Street and Welch Avenue (reported at 12:52 a.m.).

Officers assisted a 19-year-old female who was experiencing medical difficulties at Friley Hall (reported at 1:09 a.m.).

John Domina, 19, 2407 Wilson Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol Knapp Street and Welch Avenue (reported at 1:21 a.m.).

Alex Moore, 22, 3226 Lincoln Way, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center on the 100 block of Hayward Avenue (reported at 1:52 a.m.).

Joseph Buelow, 20, 3310 West St., was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Knapp Street and Welch Avenue (reported at 2:07 a.m.).

Benajmin Misak, 22, of 4733 Toronto St. unit 302, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at University Boulevard and Wallace Road. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center (reported at 2:39 a.m.).

Robert Tebben, 21, 6201 Northfork Road, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Hayward Avenue and Knapp Street. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center (reported at 3:17 a.m.).

An officer mediated a dispute between roommates at Wilson Hall. The situation was resolved for the time being (reported at 1:02 p.m.).

A vehicle struck a light pole before coming to rest on its top at Hyland Avenue and Pammel Drive. The driver, later identified as Robert Armstrong, fled from the scene on foot. Armstrong, 40, of the Curt Forbes Center, was later located and taken into custody. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center (reported at 9:57 p.m.).

An officer assisted a female who had fallen at Eaton Hall. The individual was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment (reported at 11:28 p.m.).

Megan Williams, 19, 3746 Helser Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Helser Hall. She was transported to the Story County Justice Center (reported at 11:43 p.m.).
