House passes education reform package on 53-46 vote; bill now moves to Senate

After hours of debate stretching late into the night on Tuesday, Iowa House lawmakers Wednesday morning approved a wide-ranging education reform package.
The 53-46 near party-line vote moves the bill, House File 2380, to the state Senate for further consideration.
