A golden eyeshadow paired with a nude lip is fresh and natural daytime look.

Studio 7 Salon and Spa’s aesthetician, Sou Vithayasab, showed us how to do a glowing natural daytime look and simply change it to a sassy, smoky eye for night. All makeup products used are by Youngblood Cosmetics.

Model: Alyssa Hall, senior in dietetics

Look 1 — Day

1. Use a lighter eye color on brow bones.

2. Next, use the Golden Barrel on lids.

3. Line the lids with a darker color. This will make your eyelids look bigger.

4. Line the top lid lightly with liquid liner and add mascara.

5. Next, she used loose mineral foundation on Alyssa. Youngblood Cosmetics has options for any kind of foundation, including loose mineral, liquid, cream to powder and pressed.

6. After applying desired foundation, use a blush as a highlight. Under the blush, lightly blend some Sunshine Bronzer outward to accentuate the cheekbones.

7. Lastly, add the lip color. You can go with a nude lip for a more natural look or add Vivid lip color by Youngblood for a spring look. Use your finger or a lip brush to apply.

Look 2 — Turn your day look into a nighttime smoky eye in four simple steps.

1. On top of the already golden lids, apply Concord eye color by Youngblood Cosmetics. Blend the Concord on the outer corners of the eye. The key to a great smoky eye is blending. You can use your fingertip or a brush to achieve this look.

2. Next, take an angle brush and use the same Concord color and blend the lower lids.

3. Brush off excess eye shadow that may have fallen while blending for a cleaner look.

4. Last, apply the Latté lip color by Youngblood Cosmetics, and you’re ready for a night on the town.
