After victories against Thailand 13-0 and Chile 3-0 in the 2019 Women’s World Cup, the United States Women’s Soccer team faces Sweden on Thursday in their final game in the group stage.

Both the United States and Sweden have a record of 2-0 in Group F in the 2019 Women’s World Cup.

These two teams met in the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, which resulted in a 0-0 draw.

In their last meeting in 2017, the United States beat Sweden 1-0 in an international friendly.

The United States is the defending World Cup champion and has been the most dominant team in the competition as they have yet to have a goal scored against them and have outscored their opponents 16-0 in two games thus far.

Forwards Carli Lloyd and Alex Morgan have been two of the best offensive players in the World Cup as Lloyd has three goals scored, which ranks third. Morgan has five goals scored, which is first, and she has three assists, which is tied for first.

Sweden has been one of the better offensive teams in the World Cup as they have scored seven scores which is tied for second out of the 32 teams in 2019 Women’s World Cup.

Kickoff between the United States and Sweden is scheduled for 2 p.m. Central in Le Havre, France, and can be viewed on FOX.

The winner will face Spain and the loser with face either Canada or the Netherlands.
