Season high falls short for gymnasts

Season-high score of 195.175 places the Cyclones second place in the Perfect 10 Challenge at Norman, Okla.
Oklahoma (12-2, 1-0 Big 12) won the meet against Iowa State (3-4, 0-2 Big 12) and Southeast Missouri State (0-5) with a final score of 197.050, while Southeast Missouri State finished with 189.600.
Celine Paulus continued to improve breaking her career-high she set last week with an all-around of 39.375. A career-high 9.900 for her floor routine was her highlight from the night.
Friday marks the first time this season Iowa State has not counted a fall.
The Cyclones travel to Iowa City next week to take on the Hawkeyes Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.
