The Women of Color met Friday, Jan. 27, for a welcome gathering at the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center. The Women of Color so far has been a network of faculty and graduate students that works to create an environment for women of color to thrive in, said Lissa Place, a hird-year doctorate student in ELPS. Women of Color is working to create an undergraduate group.
