Shannon Moore Wheeler, daughter of Michael and Barbra Wheeler, and Andrew David Powers, son of John and Diane Powers, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. 

Wheeler, of West Point, is currently a junior majoring in psychology.

Powers is from Fort Madison and also a junior, studying history and political science. 

The couple is getting married this New Year’s Eve, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point, Iowa.
