Letter: Thanks to Kinesiology and Health Club for support of Special Olympics Iowa
November 16, 2011
More than 300 athletes consisting of 37 teams, 66 coaches and 100 volunteers from across the state of Iowa were part of the successful Special Olympics Iowa State Volleyball Tournament on Oct. 15 at Iowa State University.
This would not be possible without the leadership of the Iowa State University Kinesiology and Health Club. ISU students and faculty have played a key role in the success of this tournament for more than 25 years.
The dedication and commitment of ISU students and staff play a tremendous role in the success of this event year after year. This year, ISU student Kaylee Spencer and ISU professor Tim Derrick were responsible for organizing the event. On behalf of our athletes and Special Olympics Iowa, we thank the Iowa State University Kinesiology and Health Club for your continued support of this program.
