The Ames community enjoyed food and fellowship as they celebrated Mexican National Day Friday, Sept.16, 2011. The ISU mexican community invited the city of Ames to come and celebrate with them. They hoped to dispel the common misconception that Cinco de Mayo is the Mexican Independance day by making the Mexican National Day memorable.
