Presidential search committee to meet in Minneapolis

The ISU presidential search committee is heading to Minneapolis on Thursday and Friday to interview candidates.
The search committee will hold a closed-session, two-day meeting at the Hilton Hotel from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, according to a news release.
Iowa’s Open Meetings Law allows the committee to meet in closed session to evaluate the competency of an individual whose appointment is under consideration if the individual has requested confidentiality, according to the release. All of the applicants have requested confidentiality.
