Armed man robs Kum & Go on Lincoln Way

An armed man escaped with an undisclosed amount of money after robbing the Kum & Go service station at 4506 Lincoln Way, Sunday Sept. 18 at 6:14 a.m.
An employee on the scene stated that a male had entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the store employee. The suspect fled from the scene heading east.
The suspect escaped with undisclosed amount of money, and although there was one customer present at the time, no injuries were reported.
The subject was described as a 20-year-old black male of approximately 5 foot 8 inches in height with a stocky build. The suspect was wearing a black and grey hooded sweatshirt and long blue jean shorts.
