What was the bet thing about your first year at Iowa State?: Definitely the people. Some of the people I met my freshmen year are my best friends today.

What challenges did you have your first year?: Being away from high school friends [was a struggle], but I met so many new people here, and it’s easy to stay in touch with old friends with modern technology.

What is so advice you would give to new ISU students?: You end up regretting more the things you don’t end up doing. So make sure to take advantage of everything while you can; it goes by fast. It seems like just yesterday I was moving into Larch Hall my freshman year. Time really does fly!
