ISU men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg announced Thursday that sophomore big man Jordan Railey has been reinstated and can participate in all team activities.

Railey was suspended indefinitely in April following his arrest for disorderly conduct. Those charges were later dropped.

Railey will be with the team for its Aug. 9 to 19 trip to Italy, during which it will play a sequence of games.

The 6-foot-11 Beaverton, Ore. native also served a two-game-suspension last season after being charged with operating while intoxicated in a Jan. 1 incident.

In the 2010-2011 season, Railey averaged 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game while seeing action in 20 contests.
