Ongoing road construction on U.S. Highway 30 between Ames and Boone has closed the eastbound entrance ramp at University Boulevard.

The Iowa Department of Transportation estimates that the ramp will be closed for two weeks. In a news release the DOT advised motorists to follow the signed detour.

The entrance ramps at South Duff Avenue and South Dakota Avenue are open.
