Justin Tylka, 18, of 911 New Hampshire Cr., was arrested and charged with possession of a contolled substance, possession of alcohol under the legal age and possession of drug paraphernalia (reported at 7:40 a.m.).

Paras Shah, 21, of 3206 Lincoln Way # 6 , was arrested and charged with public intoxication at the 100 block of Welch Avenue. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center (reported at 1:57 a.m.).

Holly Preston, 33, of 4733 Toronto St., was arrested and charged with operation while under the influence (second) (reported at 2:27 a.m.).

An individual reported the theft of a building sign Hamilton Hall (reported at 2:40 p.m.). 

A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Alexander Clemons at Lot D (reported at 5:14 p.m.). 

Michael Matthews, 22, of Centerville, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (reported at 10:00 p.m.).

A camp attendee reported receiving a threatening message from an unknown person at Larch Hall. The individual later admitted the incident did not occur. The case remains under investigation and charges are pending  (reported at 11:45 p.m.). 

Antonio Thigpen, 30, of Cedar Rapids, was arrested and charged with hold for (reported at 4:00 p.m.).
