Pack strategically for different seasons

Staring at your closet deciding what to pack away can be a challenge. With the move to college coming soon, one of the biggest things is what to bring and what not to bring. Living in the dorms is much different than having your own room and your spacious closets back home. You’re going to need to condense your wardrobe to only the pieces you’ll wear regularly.
The easiest way to decide what clothes to bring is the weather. In the beginning of school when it is 80 degrees and sometimes more, the best thing to have as a female is a selection of shorts, tanks and sundresses.
And sometime after Labor Day as fall progresses, it is time to break out the jeans, long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts. Be sure to bring back a couple of warm pieces now, as it will start to get cold before Thanksgiving.
Finally around the time you go home for Thanksgiving, the winter months approach, and you can exchange all your summer and fall clothes for warm winter wear. Iowa gets cold, and you don’t want to be the only one still in shorts in late November.
Luckily, months later the snow will melt and finally when Spring Break rolls around, the temperature start to heat up, students can pick up some warm attire for the last couple months of school. Pick out your favorite items and whatever is appropriate for the season.
