ISU wrestler Trent Weatherman was arrested for public intoxication early Friday morning in Campustown.

Weatherman, who started at 157 pounds for Iowa State, attempted to “entice a crowd of males into a physical altercation,” according to a police report.

Weatherman reportedly did not cooperate when confronted by the Ames Police officer who soon arrested him and took him to Story County Jail.

Weatherman’s blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.23 upon arrest, according the report.

ISU coach Kevin Jackson was unavailable for comment.
