Lacy Bonner, daughter of Ted and Wendy Bonner, and T.J. Mortenson Jr., son of Tim Mortenson and Jane Ferrian, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Bonner, of Swaledale, is a senior at Iowa State majoring in agricultural studies.

Mortenson, of Kamrar, graduated from Iowa State in 2009 with an agronomy major. He is currently working for Monsanto in Devils Lake, N.D.

The couple plans to marry Aug. 6.
