The ISU softball team opened the 2011 season with a 7-0 victory over the Creighton at the Cyclone Indoor Invitational.

Rachel Zabriskie pitched all seven innings for the Cyclones, allowing only one hit while striking out 13 batters.

Designated hitter Tori Torrescano went 2-4 at the plate with 3 RBIs on a double and a home run.
