Emily Bertilson, daughter of Dean and Janice Bertilson, and Jeremy Eekhoff, son of Alan and Lori Eekhoff, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Bertilson, of Garner, is studying elementary education at Iowa State.

Eekhoff, of Kanawha, is studying construction engineering at Iowa State.

The couple plans to marry on Dec. 18, 2010.
