Event authorization forms are to move online. Government of the Student Body Senate allocated money toward this project last school year and will likely be in its testing phase by January.

ISU Skydivers will receive funding from GSB to attend Collegiate National Skydiving Competition. The funding will be going toward their travel and entry fees. 

Descarga Latin Dance Club will be sending 12 of its members to the 2011 Chicago International Salsa Congress in February. GSB is funding $2,000 for the group’s registration fees. 

WinterFest will be held Dec. 3. Events will include the lighting of campus; arts and crafts; toasty treats; and Memorial Union activities. Marybeth Konkowski, senior in communication studies, said organizers are “hoping to create a relaxing winter wonderland. They are wanting to get two large aqua massage beds, and leg and calf massagers. Hopefully this will attract students and get them to mingle around to other things as well.” GSB granted $2,200 for this event.
