Jonathan Arnold Brown, junior in computer engineering, died this morning after he was struck by a vehicle Saturday night.

The vehicle was driven by Derek Haskin, senior in pre-business, at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 after the ISU football game against Texas Tech.

Brown was crossing S. 16th Street near Mulberry Boulevard. Witnesses said Brown was walking on the south side of S. 16th Street.

Brown walked into the westbound lanes of S. 16th Street between cars that were stopped in the eastbound lanes because of heavy traffic following the football game and was hit by a westbound vehicle driven by Haskin.

Brown was reported to have sustained injuries to his head and leg.
