The Iowa State College of Business will host the Young Women in Business conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27 in the Gerdin Business Building.

The title of the conference this year is “Unleash Your Potential,” and it is open to high school girls grades 9 through 12.

The Young Women in Business conference aims to encourage girls to explore their abilities and have confidence in their skills. They also get the opportunity to learn about various positions in the business world.

Additionally, conference leaders want to introduce girls to jobs in which women are underrepresented.

Girls will learn about internship opportunities and the study abroad program, as well.

Current female members of the College of Business and businesswomen in the Ames community will also be in attendance at the conference.
