Cyclone Sweep offered new freshmen and incoming transfer students the opportunity to go on a late night shopping trip to Target on Saturday, Aug 21.

This event is held annually as part of Destination Iowa State.

Charter buses picked up students from Union Drive, Richardson Court and Stephens Auditorium at 10:30 p.m. As they rode to Target, students tried to win a variety of giveaways using their phones to text codes.

Once arriving, students rushed into the store to find even more freebies and many items on sale for this special event. Many of the classic college must-have items quickly disappeared off the shelves while check-out lines grew rapidly.

As students made their way out of the store, the same charter buses waited to return them home.
