Jobs and economic development: Culver raised the minimum wage and expanded earned income tax credit. He also implemented the I-JOBS program, which invests in Iowa’s economy and works to create jobs without increasing taxes. Additionally, he invested in the Iowa Power Fund, which grows Iowa’s renewable energy market.

Education: Culver raised teacher pay to keep quality teachers in Iowa. He also raised the number of Iowa children who have access to preschool programs.
