LETTERS: Don’t forget to add your class gift input

Kylie Mccarthy and Jake Rouse

Attention, seniors:

As graduation day rapidly approaches, and we begin to think about life after college, take the time to reflect on your time at Iowa State. The 2010 senior class gift will allow your graduating class to leave a lasting legacy on the ISU campus.

Every year, the senior class has had the opportunity to give back to the university in the form of a senior class gift. That said, we need your opinion. Please take a minute to log onto AccessPlus and cast your vote for the senior class gift. Your choices are as follows:

Hub Plaza Renovation:

This project would entail renovating the Hub Plaza on the southeast side to accommodate for more seating. The renovation would feature additional tables and chairs so everyone can grab a bite to eat while enjoying the sunny weather.

South Campus Gateway Project:

With this gift option, beautiful native grasses and landscaping would be added, truly making the entrance to Iowa State stunning and unique — that way, when we return as alumni, we can always appreciate the beauty of the South Campus Gateway as we travel back to Cyclone events.

Carver and Music Hall Plaza:

The Carver and Music Hall gift option would be designed to allow better rainwater drainage by installing new sidewalk structures. The project would also contribute new landscaping along the western edge of the plaza.

Please vote, and always remember to choose your adventure at Iowa State.
