Dear Iowa State Daily,

It makes me sick that you thought it was necessary to post the opinion column, “White male, white female; keep it as God intended.” Being mixed race, this story made me extremely upset that someone could think this way, but I suppose everyone is entitled to their personal opinions.

What made me even more upset was the fact that this ignorant person doesn’t even go to this school.

I’m all for sparking up conversation and causing debate, but you guys have gone too far. It is not necessary to post this kind of junk in Iowa State’s newspaper.

I thought we were better than that, but I guess not. You have just lost the respect from me and many other students on campus.

I hope it was worth it.
